Chak-chak is a fried wheat-pastry dessert soaked in honey. They can be of various sizes, and can come in different boxes – from the most simple paper ones to beautiful tin boxes with ornaments and images of Tatarstan.

In case you are not yet planning a trip to Tatarstan, you can find Chak-chak in Bahetle supermarkets – a chain from Tatarstan which is now well established in Moscow.
